The Dime Box, Texas Black Bridge Festival and Mini Marathon was held this year on Saturday, October 5th. A cold front came through in the evening, but it was a warm morning and runners were dressed for the heat. 10k runners, 2 mile runners, and 2 mile walkers set out around 9 AM and everyone came back in fairly short order, and more importantly, without incident. Teams prepared Bar-B-Que as racer's awards were handed out. Everyone had a fun time and listened to great music while browsing the local craft booths, bounce houses, and even a dunk tank.
